Okay....so I've been so bad at this lately...and I just really want to apologize, life has been crazy, crazy, crazy!! And it probably won't get any better soon because guess what??!! I start school in 2 weeks!!! I know I'm weird for wanting to start school but oh well:)
Well lets catch up! I had just about the coolest birthday ever! I went to Disneyland the day before my birthday,,,and then our Swedish friends came to America and we spent a lot of time with them while they were here in California:) Then the Family went on vacation up to drum roll please.....KERN RIVER! It was absolutely great! Very hot, and the river was really low but still amazing! And then there's now:)
So...I'm going to kinda go on a rant right now...because sometimes you need too:) I just have had a really hard time with people lately, just ugh...sometimes they just kill me. So this is my advice for people like me who just have an issue with people...DO YOU! Don't let others determine and tell you what you should do in your life...don't let others belittle your dreams and ambitions, they are yours, they are what makes you, you. And always, always trust your gut. If something seems off, and wrong, that's because it probably is. You are your own person, and it is your life. We are human and we are going to make mistakes, that is what this life is for. We need to grow and make our own decisions. Now I am not saying don't take into account people's advice or counsel. But ultimately it is your decision on what to do.
Okay, I think I'm done:) sorry for that....but anyways life is really good otherwise. My testimony of the Gospel has been strengthened so much! Especially that of our Saviors Atonement, I cannot put into words the amount of gratitude I feel for a loving Heavenly Father that allowed His Son to suffer the sins of the world in order for us to be able to once again return to Him. I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can ALL repent of our sins and more importantly be forgiven of them. What a huge blessing that is . There has not been a day these past few really hard weeks that I haven't been grateful for the Atonement in other ways other than just repentance. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, knows each of us, and knows what we have and will go through. Those feelings of inadequacy and that you can't do anything right, or the loss of a loved one, or not getting into that dream school. He knows what each of us foes through and I am truly so grateful for that. I am thankful for the friends that I have that truly understand me, flaws and all, and take the time to ask me how I'm doing and say 'no how are you really doing?" I am especially grateful for my family, who is ALWAYS, there for me no matter what happens, I know without a doubt they will always be there with open arms. I cannot begin to express the love I have for them.
Anyways I hope you enjoy those Kakes in life:)
